About me:
I am a conservation scientist and writer particularly interested in how we can navigate growing consumption with the protection of wildlife and wild places around the world. My fieldwork has mostly taken place in tropical rainforests, from the Colombian Andes to the lowland rainforests of Borneo. In early 2019, I began writing for the international environmental journalism outlet Mongabay.
