I am currently studying for a PhD in Zoology under the Peter Scott Studentship at the University of Cambridge, supervised by Professor Andrew Balmford and co-supervised by Professor David Edwards. My research focuses on how we can reduce the impacts of timber production on biodiversity in the tropics. I consider this at different scales, from individual logging concessions, to landscapes, to entire country scales. I also consider the impacts on biodiversity of restoration.
I graduated with an integrated Masters in Zoology from the University of Sheffield in 2018, supervised by Professor David Edwards. My research focused on how to restore multiple values in logged forest, and how vine-cutting and enrichment planting affects biodiversity in Northern Borneo.
